New Prairie Music Healing Workshop Fri Sept 20, 2019
The New Prairie Music Healing Workshop is 90 minutes in which Theresa Ellis, LMT, violinist originally from Detroit, Michigan now from Eden, Utah, will strive to connect spirit to spirit with her instrumental music presentation. This interactive group Workshop uses colors and coloring/painting, words and stories, sounds and frequencies, sharing and reflection of your unique experience. Life brings many trials and trauma. In order not to be stuck inside our suffering, we can get in touch with our true self, our true feelings that allows growth and moving forward. We do survive, but also thrive. The intention of this workshop is to identify a trial, old or more recent, to reflect upon it and have more understanding of its gifts by the end of our time together.
“New Prairie” from her concept album/CD Traveler is an instrumental piece and a poem about the positive end result and impact of grassland wildfires and is a metaphor for life’s trials and resulting gifts. Recorded and performed with tracks by her late husband Jimmy Franklin, you will journey together bathed in the frequency tuning of A-432 Hertz.
After listening in a meditative manner to the live violin performance of “New Prairie, the culminating group activity includes a healing opportunity of emotional release and heightened self-awareness through the music and sharing. In the classic Native American ritual used in councils, one would take turns using a talking stick. However, in this workshop we will use a replica of an Apache violin, which is passed from one person to another, as each has their turn to share and to honor each other. Once you have handled this talking stick that Theresa created, you may want to make your own replica of the Apache Violin which is available as a DIY kit. The art kit includes materials and instructions for how to make the violin and a wood bow with real horsetail hair.
For more knowledge about your true self and your healing journey, it might be helpful to know your body’s energy frequency or Root Note. Consider having a Root Note Reading (not an angel reading) that can be done remotely, please order online in advance of the workshop for the sale price. You can pick up your Chart at the Workshop. Theresa will do in-person Root Note readings scheduled by appointment including at the Center on Saturday, September 21.
One component of the workshop is coloring, drawing, and/or watercolor painting with materials provided during the workshop. Participants will create with colors and design their own art page to take home. It can be an original idea you create, or you can color an already designed/themed coloring page provided.
Children and adults may attend the workshop.

Reading for your Root Note (Your Core Frequency Hz)
Energy testing of your core body vibration will allow you to know your other supportive notes like it is used in music and colors. Knowing your Root Note and at least two secondary foundation notes will help you gain better health through better music listening and color choices. Testing is done through linear melodic and harmonic or chord tones of music.
